ILLUSIONS

...where the past and the impossible mix with fantasy...to create a show that is funny, bizzare, beautiful, and fascinating.

ILLUSIONS - the show to delight grownups at parties, functions and events. . .

"Daniel and Grandan Puppets made our New Years Eve celebration into a truly special and memorable event. The performances by Pavarotti, Miss Margo Molloy,  Fairy  Nuff and Dinky Dye charmed and captivated our guests. We even had guests and neighbours hanging off the roof and crowding the fences to get a better look.  Everyone loved it and we thought it was just fabulous!" .....

Wonderful! We love the Grandan Puppets - come back again soon!

- (JL Dec 18th 2007)

We were bowled over. We had no idea your show would be so good. Thankyou so much.

Miss Margo Molloy - one of the stars of the Cabaret show "Ilusions". Margo wins hearts with her rendition of "I Who Have Nothing." Margo is delighted to be back performing after a successful tour of the Betty Ford Clinic. She said it was time to leave the clinic because it was becoming crowded with too many Australian footballers. When asked how she maintains her youthful figure she is quick to respond "Plenty of diet pills, and black coffee, Darling!"

Other Artists Appearing in the Cabaret Show may include:-

Luciano Pavarotti

Dinky Dye

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD- the real story!

or

GONE WITH THE RED CAPE

or

THE BOLD & THE FURRY

This is a show that leaves them laughing and delighted. Told in a Shrek style, the real outcome of the story will amuse the adults- yet leave the children completely satisfied.

Told in a completely theatrical manner, this show is remminiscent of the best traditions of vaudeville, and pantomime. Some might say the old tale is given the "Shrek treatment" with the jokes ranging from the obvious to sophisticated.

Whatever the age of the audience- Little Red Riding Hood will never be quite the same....

Now here is a story with a moral or two
For oldies for youngies,
Let’s hope it’s for you…

The dark of a forest and shadows there lurking
Innocent children beware evil working.
And hear from your parents the wisdom of years
When they try to pour into your sweet little ears
From the bank of experience, much to be wrung,
To save from the wicked,
The souls of the young.

–There's gin in her basket for Granny and with a dog called "Porky" who has a thing about pigs, a woodsman who is loaded with self doubt ("I coulda been a contender") - there's something for everyone in this re-telling of an old "grim tale".

Some interesting actors and actresses have been engaged to fill the roles in this famous tale- please enjoy their "bio's" on the "Profiles" page,
